THE DRAWING CIRCUS MANIFSTO
The Drawing Circus: Manifesto will open up drawing to as many people as possible as we take over the Old Market in Brighton for a whole day this November. We’ll be holding a Drawing Symposium for drawing tutors and artists in the morning, followed by an afternoon Family Drawing Circus event for families and children and finally our main Drawing Circus; a huge, theatrical figure drawing event in the evening where we welcome people of all abilities and levels of experience to come and draw. We’ll also be publishing two books to accompany the event.
THE DRAWING SYMPOSIUM
The Drawing Symposium will be a chance for artists, tutors and models to come together and disscus what life drawing means to them, the symposium is invitation only but interested parties are welcome to request and invitation on info@draw-brighton.co.uk.

The Family Drawing Circus
Draw bring a splash of colour and creation to the weekend as we open up our annual autumn Drawing Circus event to families for the first time; costumed models will pose to be drawn with our experienced tutors on hand to get the whole family doodling. Drawing materials are provided and all ages and levels of ability are welcome, families are encouraged to draw together.

As the long dark evenings encroach The Drawing Circus invites you to take up your pencil and keep the night at bay…Sketch your way through a living fairy tale as the entirety of The Old Market is transformed into an imaginarium of delight; the Cabinets of Wonder frame models in extravagant costume as muscular Greek Myth collides with germanic folk story and Shakespearian imagery with the imaginings of Lewis Carrol. In a set which evokes every Drawing Circus yet put on by Draw we bring you Brighton’s greatest drawing night with the TOM bar open all evening and live music played throughout. All abilities are welcome, please bring your own materials.
